One of the newest creations from the team at Lego®, Power Miners are quickly gaining popularity with the kids.  The Power Miners themed cake is made of vanilla cake with our signature butter cream icing.  The main “Rock” is Krispy treat covered in fondant with gum paste details.  This cake includes the Lego® kit you see assembled on top of the cake.   The gravel is made of edible chocolate pieces.  One new feature we are proud to offer on all of our Lego® themed cakes will be a coordinating Lego® kit (when applicable). Inspired by Lego’s as kids ourselves, we are proud to announce the unveiling of our version of what a wedding reception dinner cake should be, FUN.  This two tier golden vanilla cake features our signature butter cream icing and fondant Lego’s.  The miniature Lego people and “4 Wide Bricks” are made of white chocolate. The larger scale Lego figures as well as the bricks that appear under the fondant “cover” are gum paste. Total of 17 hours went into creating this cake mainly due the Lego pieces and figures.    We are proud to have been selected to build this custom cake for yet another new client of ours, Elizabeth A. in Charlotte NC.

The batman lego cake you see above was the third cake that a return client from Charlotte, NC has asked us to do.  Their last one was the Thomas The Tank train cake we did last year. The Batman theme combined with the Lego’s are the birthday boy’s two favorite things in life. So we gotta get the birthday boy what he needs, SUGAR!!!

The cake is a golden vanilla with an obscene amount of  our signature butter cream icing topped off with a whole bunch of chocolate Legos, some white chocolate, some dark chocolate.  The Batman belt and badge are made of fondant.  We’d love to do a custom creation just for you, simply drop us an email.

Lego accents border the 2nd tier of this star wars themed creation

We just completed this custom Star Wars birthday cake for our friend Lia K. of Charlotte NC. This is Lia’s second cake and I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity to tackle this, our latest Tiered cake. Everything is edible except for the Lego characters on top. They are actual lego people that also serve as magnets for the refrigerator. This Lego Star Wars custom birthday cake is chocolate with butter cream icing underneath the fondant. The lollipop stars are white chocolate. The lego blocks are gum paste. The design was inspired by another cake site that Lia visited looking for a concept. I just modified it a bit with more lego fondant blocks and the addition of the vanilla candy stars.
