Bud Light Beer Cake

Our Bud Light Beer Cake serves up to 70 party goers at Isaac’s 30th birthday bash here in Mooresville, NC.  The cake is a Pilsner Glass made of Red Velvet and layered with Kenfections specialty icing.  The Air Force stripes as well as Isaac’s company logo, Waste Management Concierge are featured on each side of the pilsner glass. The cake is NOT covered in fondant.  You might ask Why?  The weight of the fondant the sides of the glass could not be supported by the top of the cake and it would simply tear at the top of the glass.   So, we chose to spend a lot of time working on the smoothness of the icing itself.    The inside of the cake is supported with the use of PVC that is mounted to the base so the cake would not crush or shift at any stage of production or delivery.  Total weight of this specialty cake was just under 40 pounds.
